Sales Tax

This chapter explains how the sales tax in LS One is set up and used.

The sales tax configuration is quite flexible and can be used in many different ways.

The sales tax setup in LS One’s Demo Data is not intended to work for any specific country, it is there to give an example of how the configuration could be.

Sales tax setup and configuration is very important for those who are responsible for the data in the system. When the sales tax has been set up and configured for all the relevant data sales tax is automatically calculated in LS POS sales.

By reading this chapter and doing the exercises, you gain information about a sales tax setup and its usage in the system; what it is that triggers which tax percentage is used.
